The Magic of the Sacred Circle Anthology

Listen in to my vision for this book…

My why for birthing this project.

It all begins with an idea. My idea came to me after a circle that I held just after my book had launched. I can’t begin to tell you how much that book has not only transformed me on a deeper level, but also what it has done for my work, my gifts and what I am here to do. It is not for the faint of heart though. It takes courage. There is a cathartic process, a powerful portal you step through when you become an author. Sharing your story is the ultimate art of shadow work, it is pure magic.

Maybe you have thought about writing a book, too and didn’t know where to start with the process. Maybe you have a creative project or business that was conceived and took form in a circle, like mine was. Perhaps this creative seed is destined to reach the world, to radiate out, to shine. Whatever it is, telling your story can make a difference in another woman’s life - give her permission to be vulnerable, get honest. She may seek out a circle and she may hold her own circle one day, with her own flavour and touch. It is my wish that we all find true connection in these spaces.

Circles are pure Magic.

The put-together person I was, expressing emotions openly wasn’t something that came natural to me. I nervously sat down on a bolster and gazed around the room. I was looking at pointers, at someone who I could copy and observe so I would ‘do the right thing’. I smile looking back at that time. I was so detached from who I was - stuck with so many unexpressed feelings caged up deep inside me.

Then I fell down the rabbit hole. It felt like something on a cellular level remembered some ancient call - an order long forgotten and buried deep in my subconscious mind. The details are blurry, but I vividly recall the moment the circle facilitator started using her shamanic frame drum. I had tears streaming down my face. Blind tears that were soaking the eye pillow I had on my face. As the drum got louder, I started sobbing. I cried so hard my body was shaking. I couldn’t stop. Those tears felt like they were releasing the emotions of my life time and then some that felt like from another time, a different past time perhaps.

My experience that day did start a beautiful awakening, a healing and an opening of a loop that was cast a very long time ago. Many circles have followed since, so many incredible women have touched my world, held me and inspired me to dive deeper into the reclamation of myself.

I have surrendered and embraced my innate gifts, found my truth, tapped back into my intuitive nature and started holding circles in my space - my way. I have been humbled many times by the honest connections, the unfolding and the authenticity that have happened in my space. Holding safe space is my innate gift.

A circle changed my trajectory.

I remember the first time I walked into a circle. It was in a yoga studio and when I looked at the center altar, with candles, flowers and oracle cards carefully arranged, something inside me stirred. I also felt anxious.

My vision for this book.

You have to hand it to the universe - it has one heck of a sense of humour. A big part of my disconnect, my burnout and my breakdown played out when I was pursuing a career that was never meant for me. Ideals that were modeled to me - sacrifice, efficiency. I was deeply stuck in the masculine and linear corporate world, where all I was doing was trying to work harder, push further and get to what I perceived back then as ‘success’.

The kicker - I was working in publishing at the time and rose through the ranks to become General Manager, traveling and innovating, but not fulfilling the creative calling of actually writing and designing that made me chose that industry in the first place. Funny how this whole journey has now delivered me back to becoming a publisher.

I’ve written my book to tell the tale and to share my story - to plant the seed of change in other women still stuck in the belief that there can’t be another way. I want to show them that there is more. I’ve become a wild executive, a femmepreneur and warrioress holding my truth as a sword.

And I know if you found your way here, you share my vision of bringing change, being the wild one who shows the way, who hold and nurtures in spaces and one with a story waiting to be written.

This is my invitation for you.

I’ll invite you to take your next step and to hear the calling for your story to be told as part of this book. I want this book to be a calling, a glowing ember in the dark for those women who have not found their sisterhood yet, for those who feel lost and stuck. I want this book to be our legacy to honour our gifts, tell our stories so they can touch others. A living testimony to who we have grown to become and are still becoming in safe spaces with true authentic connection.

So, dear wild one. I’m calling you in to be part of this project. Be part of a wild hive collective. I invite you to step into this magical writing container.
I will hold you while writing your story, etch your path onto paper and guide you on your journey into authorship. In circle. In sisterhood.

I’m calling 13 women
to weave in this space.

The number 13 represents a cycle of endings and rebirth, a symbol of spiritual growth and rebirth. This number is considered to be deeply karmic and loaded with divine feminine energy - a number of intuition and wisdom and one that encourages personal growth, catalyzes change and brings about new beginnings.

Will you be one of the 13?

Becoming a Co-Author is powerful.

  • Dream it. Inspire.

What do you dream of when you hold space, when you create magic? It is powerful to share your message and inspire others with your words, your gifts and your artistic expression. The written word is spell-casting your dream into the world and allow you to get started on your authorship journey.

It can change your life and that of others in a meaningful way and position you and your soul business and mission in a much bigger way.

  • Release it. Elevate.

Writing your story offers a courageous transformation that can release a lot of past trauma, limiting beliefs and step through a powerful portal of self-expression. Writing is the ultmate freedom of voice and you will get many deep insights and clarity on your message, your mission and your business.

A book will elevate you and allow you to grow beyond your wildest dreams. It can close old loops and burst open new paths for you and the massage of your soul purpose.

  • Write it. Together.

You may always had a dream of becoming an author one day. Many of us share that dream - few actually follow that dream and turn it into realty. I started with a co-authored book and then went on to write my own. It was hard. It took tenacity to keep going. I learned a lot.

I want to create a space where it feels safe to share, like my circles, where we write together, exchange feedback and grow on this path. Applied sisterhood, weaving magic - juicy & aligned with our truth.

There is power in your story and there is power in the transformation it brings when you share it with the world.

Just like gathering in circle, we put down our armour, our labels and masks and we come as women. Raw, honest and vulnerable - and with that we allow those around us to follow.

To feel a deep connection and to remember our essence as women, gathering, sharing and weaving magic.
